Welcome to Hoot Deconstructed. For a little bit about me, I’m an American 30-something who has lived abroad, had a few jobs, and nearly been killed a few times by Crohn’s Disease. I hold graduate degrees in Philosophy, Couples Counseling/Sex Therapy, and Integrated Marketing. That’s not to brag, but rather to explain my perspective. I absorb a lot and think too much. This site contains experiences and observations that, though presented from my perspective, are all more or less true. The world is a weird place and some memories stick with you. These are those.
Oh, and the name Hoot Deconstructed comes from my name. Hoot has been a nickname of everyone in my family for generations. I love being a Hutmacher.
Enjoy.
